For Immediate Release - February 11, 2025
Virginia LULAC is proud to announce the official launch of its Community Resource List, a new initiative designed to connect Virginia residents with essential services provided by local non-profit organizations. This resource aims to bridge the gap between individuals in need and the best possible support available in their communities.
The Community Resource List features non-profits that offer a wide range of services, including housing assistance, food distribution, healthcare access, legal aid, job training, immigrant support, and more. While this list is an evolving project, it marks a significant step forward in Virginia LULAC’s ongoing efforts to empower and uplift the Latino community and beyond.
“At Virginia LULAC, we are committed to being not just advocates but active facilitators of community support,” said Christopher Concepcion. “This initiative reflects our mission to provide individuals and families with the tools and connections they need to navigate challenges and thrive.”
The organization invites non-profits, community leaders, and residents to contribute to this initiative by contacting us to sharing additional resources and services that can benefit those in need. By working together, Virginia LULAC continues to strengthen its role as a connector and advocate, ensuring that vital services reach those who need them most.
The Community Resource List is available now on Virginia LULAC’s website – https://www.valulac.org/s-resources, and updates will be made regularly to expand and refine the directory.
